These are some of the photos I took in a mountain-top pasture at Brasstown, NC, on 21 August 2017. Nearly all used High Dynamic Range processing, revealing sunspots slightly northeast of the sun's center point and near the southwest edge. Partial eclipse photos were made at ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/2000 to 1/150, with 17 2/3 stops worth of attenuation. Total eclipse photos were exposed at ISO 200, f/5.6, shutter speeds of 1/250 to 8s, and without the ND attenuation.
